We offer three decision plans for first-year applicants with the following deadlines.
- Early Decision I: November 15
- Early Decision II: January 1
- Regular Decision: January 15
Transfer and nontraditional student applications are due March 1.
Admissions and Financial Aid applications are due at the same time. For information about financial aid policies, visit the Undergraduate Policies page.
Application Deadlines and Resources
Each year, Bryn Mawr accepts a diverse group of students including first-year, transfer, nontraditional, and international students.
First-Year Students
Nov. 15, Jan. 1, or Jan. 15: If you are applying to Bryn Mawr right after high school (or after a gap year), these deadlines are for you. You have the option of applying to Bryn Mawr in Early or Regular Decision.
International Students
Nov. 15, Jan. 1, or Jan. 15: Bryn Mawr is proud to have a diverse international community on campus. Learn more about the application process for students outside the United States.
Transfer Students
March 1: Bryn Mawr welcomes students who have started their college journey at another institution to apply for fall admission each year.
Nontraditional Students
March 1: Nontraditional (24 years or older) and transfer students can apply for fall admission each year.
Early Decision
Applying Early Decision is a binding agreement meant for students with a clear first-choice college.
Regular Decision
Regular Decision is a great option for students who don’t have a clear first-choice college or who may need to compare different financial aid packages.
